Ascend Visual System, Inc. is a fabless IC design and technology development company incorporated in Delaware, USA in April 2006. Headquarters is in Silicon Valley, California. The major operating unit for engineering, marketing and production operations is in Taiwan, close to Hsinchu Science- based Industrial Park.

 Team members are all experienced IC industry veterans with excellent track records in their past companies. We bring to Ascend strong product planning, design, engineering and marketing expertise. We have a strong marketing channel and connection in Japan with both big name company and electronics channel/distributors. The 1st product family Ascend developed is an LED backlighting controller and driver IC. Production silicon will be available by July, 2007.

 We are planning to establish our own brand name leveraging our products' leading position in the LED backlighting sector. We are enhancing our intellectual property portfolio, with a series of patents in the pipeline, several of which are pending before the US patent office or in the filing process.
